Behind the scenes at Ted
If you missed out on It’s Rutting Season – which ended last weekend – we thought it only right to share with you what you missed. Check out the lovely specimen in the our video below…
It’s Rutting Season is over in London. Ted has found his adorable Doe in Kristina Šimnová and his dominant Stag in Damien Ryan. They win the £500 shopping spree.
You can see all the lovely specimens from London in Ted’s Rutting Gallery. Ted also had top Instagram photographer Mike Kus snapping away capturing the action. You can see all the behind the scenes shots here.

So that’s it. It’s Rutting Season is over in Ted’s stores. Congratulations to all of the winning Does and Stags from Glasgow and Manchester – Danielle Gamble, Joseff Thomas, Phemie Beattie, and Aaron Osliff. Here they all are:
The real deer rut that inspired It’s Rutting Season, is taking place at the moment in Richmond Park – the location used for ‘Ted’s Worn To Be Wild’ AW11 look book shoot – and across the country. It’s an amazing sight and not to be missed – you’ve just got to be an early riser.
London, it’s time to strut your rutt!
Pop into Ted Baker Regent Street this Saturday, and compete with Glasgow and Manchester to show off your wild side in front of the camera. There’s a £500 shopping spree up for grabs. Find out all you need to know and see what we’ve been up to here.
Behind the lens and shooting the deer (so to speak) will be the very stylish Mademoiselle Robot. She’ll be using Instagram, capturing all your animal instincts as you pose in a beautiful illustrated wood land set.
Also making a London appearance will be Mike Kus, who just happens to be Instagrams most followed user in the world.
Don’t miss out – pop down, have a drink on us and strut your Rutt before the end of the season.
Susceptible to disease and environmental change, year on year bees are disappearing at an alarming rate. And this really buzzes us off! Well we wanted to do our bit to help, so up on the roof of Tedquarters we’ve installed two beehives which house our very own Buckfast bees.
Over the years bee numbers have halved in the UK. You may be wondering why this is a big deal? Well, bees play a key part in producing over a third of crops through pollination and without them the UK economy would lose about £200 million a year.
Our friends from Urban Beekeeping have helped set up and look after our hives. Urban Beekeeping encourage beekeeping by training and educating people to become responsible beekeepers in London.
We thought this was a great way to give back to nature, and we’re now so obsessed with bees, that they currently feature in our store windows. What’s more, if you make a purchase at Ted you’ll receive a ‘seeds for bees’ packet for you to sow*. The seed mixture contains 30 different varieties that will provide a natural habitat and food for our flying friends.
Have you seen the bees in store?
*While stocks last.
Last weekend, we were delighted to see the Mail On Sunday’s ‘You’ magazine devote its fashion pages to a showcase of some of our key pieces from our AW10 collection.
Shot on location on the runway of Menorca’s Royal Aero Space, the beautiful photography definitely got us all dreaming of our next weekend getaway…
If you missed them, not to worry – you can still see the images here.
Plus, we’ve also got our hands on some more exclusive, gorgeous shots – they couldn’t be squeezed into the magazine but we’ve made room for them here. Enjoy.
In our Ted Baker stores, we let our imaginations run wild to create a fun and unique shopping experience just for you – so why should our online store be any different?
Full of quirky imagery, we love showing off our collections in playful scenarios that capture both the style and humour of Ted.

It’s not all fun and games though – just last week we had a 2 day shoot at Tedquarters for the next lot of online imagery. Muse & views snuck in with our own camera to give you an exclusive peek.

Christian Couzens is the man behind the camera, Pete and Phoebe in front, Ben from our graphics department art directed, whilst Charlotte can be seen helping out with styling.

It’s time for another Ted’s team exclusive. So if you head over to our spanking new men’s accessories page, as well as loads of great items to finish off any style, you’ll see Terry.
Terry is our resident captain of the seven seas, otherwise known as head of shipping and this sea dog is showing off the latest straw trilby, Quiler; just the thing to keep everything shipshape.
You may have noticed that our website has recently had a bit of a makeover. There’s loads of exciting new imagery, showcasing all the different aspects of the Ted Baker collections.
We’d like to draw special attention to the women’s accessories page which features our latest model Vida; Ted’s executive domestic services manager, best friend to all 230 head office staff and a natural in front of the camera.
To celebrate the launch of our new website, everyone who was involved in its development was invited to some pre-Christmas go karting. It may have been the season of goodwill, but with a bit of healthy competition, all that was left in the dust.
