The Great Christmas Pudding Race that took place on the weekend was full of festive fun and frolics. 17 teams competed to win the title, including an 81 year old racer! The action-packed (but very messy) race raised an amazing £220,000 for Cancer Research.

Ted’s little helpers successfully completed the race, and although just missed out on winning, had a fantastic day.

Ted’s getting ready to strut his stuff with Vogue’s Fashion’s Night In. Whether you’re a catwalk kitten or just a fashion-forward fellow, Ted’s got everything you need on his shiny new look-pages. To celebrate further Ted is giving away 20 silk pocket squares for any purchase made from his Suited and Booted range and 20 beaded necklaces for any purchase made from our Occasion Wear range. You’d best be quick! These looks are a cut above the rest and are bound be a run-away success…

To kick off Christmas in style Ted invited his friends at Google to a special shopping evening at his Dublin store.

All Googlers enjoyed complimentary beverages from Ted’s friends at Harry’s On The Green and sweet treats served by neighbours KC Peaches.
In-store entertainment was provided courtesy of DJ Seajam and a prize draw was held where one lucky Googler won an overnight stay at the four-star Brooks Hotel, while another won two complimentary treatments at award-winning salon, Davey Davey.

If that wasn’t enough, the first 50 Googlers that spent over €250 received a ‘Final Touches’ goody bag worth up to €100.
What a night it was! Much fun was had and happy Googlers left with full shopping bags.

Exciting times are ahead for Ted…
Here’s a treat from Tedquarters if you don’t happen to be in the areas. Next year, Ted will be adding not one but two (amongst others in the pipeline) new and incredibly exciting stores to our global stores portfolio. Omotesando, Tokyo will see the addition of a marvellous Ted store in early 2012 and, if that wasn’t enough, Ted’s also gone for a hat trick in New York City by adding a new store to sit alongside his SoHo and Meatpacking District locations. Launching in summer on the ever-glamorous and world-famous 5th Avenue, it’s a big ‘un too.

Have you heard of the Great Christmas Pudding Race? It’s an annual event that is taking place on the 3rd December 2011 in Covent Garden Market, London.
The event is organised by CRAC on behalf of Cancer Research UK and supported by Fox’s and Covent Garden Market and this year we have our very own Ted Baker team entering!
Teams of six, in fancy dress, have to negotiate their way round an obstacle course while carrying a Christmas pudding on a tray. To make things a little more exciting they have to dodge being squirted with foam – brilliant fun!! So if your near by come along and cheer the Ted Baker team on!
It’s a fantastic event so if your out and about in Covent Garden, come on down to support Cancer Research UK and Teds Little Helpers!

Have you been good this year? Ted hopes so because he’s got treats to give away EVERY DAY from the 1st – 24th December.
Head over to our website from the 1st December to enter Ted’s Festive Calendar. There will be daily updates on Facebook and Twitter so make sure you are following Ted Baker.

Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most unanticipated of places. For Ted, that place is usually on one of his frequent fishing trips across the English countryside; it was during one such trip that Ted realised that there was a fairly constant companion to his many pursuits of the great outdoors: his faithful Brady bag.
As one of the best shots in the business (his commercial hit rate is second to none), Ted’s been known to participate in the occasional shooting party and had noticed time and again the frequent presence and, indeed, essentiality of the Brady bag during such events. He began to think that perhaps the broader appeal of such a versatile piece of equipment had not quite yet been realised.
With that, Ted set about hatching a master plan to collaborate with the brothers Brady. With over a century of expertise behind them, Brady’s long-lasting appeal was obviously down to something that Ted himself hugely endorses: the making of bags the old-fashioned way.

Without further ado, Ted presents a stunning new range crafted under a new partnership with Brady bags: three men’s and one women’s, designed for the town, the country and everywhere in-between.
Featuring classic shapes with contemporary colour palettes and featuring unique ted linings and details, Ted’s Brady bags embody the perfect marriage of style, versatility and that principle that both Ted and Brady share: an unswerving devotion to quality.
