The sight and sound of bees drifting from flower to flower is a quintessential part of a summer’s day. Sadly, bees are very susceptible to a variety of diseases and environmental changes, and recently colonies have been dying out at an alarming rate.
When you consider that over a third of the crops we eat are pollinated by bees, and that they make an annual contribution to our economy of £165 million, Ted knew he had to help the plight of the bumblebee.
By installing 2 beehives on our roof, we hope to give the bee population chance to recuperate, whilst giving wildlife a boost as our bees pollinate local plants.
Our Buckfast bees arrived from a farm in Shropshire a few weeks ago and they immediately settled into their new abode. Our beekeeper comes in once a week to check they’re healthy, happy and of course to collect the honey that’s going down a treat at Tedquarters.

If you need to be smart every day, our leather bag Dooky won’t let your look down.
The traditional, masculine shape means it’s as functional as it is stylish. Whilst the washed leather and gold coloured fixtures and fittings offer a fresh take on the classic briefcase.

Why not collect the set? Matching overnight bag, Talbon, and flight bag, Mucho are also available in store and online.

Our friends across the pond just can’t get enough of Ted – well who can blame them. Just the other week a new store opened in Arizona and now Ted has set up shop in Santa Monica, California.
In the newly refurbished Santa Monica Place, Ted’s created a monument to the retro British seaside. With candy colours, dilapidated signage and even a carousel horse, it’s the best of an English seaside minus the miserable weather, plus the beautiful Californian sunshine.
To celebrate the opening of this store by the shore, there are competitions, tasty treats and obviously, Ted’s latest menswear and womenswear collections to enjoy. Sea you there.

Ted always delivers the goods, and from today until Sunday 8th, he’s delivering them for free.
If you thought our latest arrivals couldn’t get any better, they just have. That’s right, to celebrate the launch of our new season collection we’re offering free standard UK delivery (including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands) from today, until Sunday. Enjoy.

Skater skirts are a huge trend coming through at the minute. Ideal for the rest of the summer and the transition into autumn; we can’t think of a better way to update your look than with our new dress, Phoen.
Classic yet contemporary, the jersey top teamed with the satin skirt mean it’s a comfy look, that’s as flattering as it is elegant. What makes this piece unique though, is its sash detailing at the waist – a simply striking finishing touch.
As an extra tip, try it with our bag, Fawny, and shoes Peoni, both available in red.

Fresher days are a perfect opportunity to be more playful with your style; layering different fabrics, colours and patterns.
Yet while it’s not quite cool enough for a full on winter coat, this nylon panel hoody, Twotops, is a great piece to have handy for the changing seasons.

What with the British weather the way it is; its long sleeves, hood and versatile colour mean you’ll be ready for anything.

Last Thursday, Ted hosted a grand opening event at our newest store in America. In Scottsdale Fashion Square just outside of Phoenix, Arizona, Ted organised an English garden party. Complete with a lawn and picket fence, cucumber canapés and Bombay Sapphire iced tea cocktails; it was attended by some of Arizona’s finest, including press, local celebrities and the A to Z of the fashion elite.
As a glamorous addition to Ted’s garden party, we also hosted an after party and poolside fashion show with our friends at W Scottsdale The catwalk showcased Ted’s summer style and offered a glimpse into our fall collections. Fashionable fun was had by all and we at Ted look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Scottsdale’s finest.

Inspired by our bestseller jersey style, Lacun (which just so happens to be on sale at the minute), we’ve created Polir; a fabulous dress with a delightfully delicate heart trim neckline.
Now we know you’ll love the hearts, but it’s the bright, stand out colours that make this style so sweet for summer. While the loose, flattering shape make it an effortlessly chic number for your collection – bound to get any girl’s heart racing.

A few weeks ago we told you about the opening of our brand new store in Scottsdale, Arizona. Well things are going swimmingly across the pond, but we thought it was high time to have a bit of a housewarming.
With an English country garden theme in store, obviously an English country garden tea party was the order of the day. Complete with complimentary drinks, canapés, competitions and a few celebs; this is not so much a red carpet and velvet rope affair, but more green grass and picket fence.
If that wasn’t enough, Ted’s team have arranged an after party at the W hotel in Scottsdale, where there’ll be speciality cocktails and a fashion show to showcase all of Ted’s latest creations. We’ll be sure to put up some pics after Thursday evening’s celebrations.

Throughout the whole summer, Lyric Square – a vibrant public space in the heart of Hammersmith – is hosting a plethora of fun and frivolities.
You won’t want to miss The Urban Beach this weekend; full of all the ice-cream and deckchairs you could dream of. Just don’t forget to send us a postcard.
In fact our newest store in America has actually been decked out to capture the essence of a retro British seaside. More about that soon

Inspired by Grace Kelly and the award-winning TV show Mad Men; full skirts are all the rage this season. Cissie, therefore, was the obvious choice for this week’s key piece.
In a vibrant red, the boned bodice waist and georgette sleeves will flatter your figure in all the right places. Whilst it’s the rather voluminous skirt that really captures the style of the 1960s.
So for those looking to become their own style icon, and stand out in classic sophistication, Cissie is the dress for you.
