This weekend, our Regent Street store played host to two amazing performances from exciting new artists, Under the Driftwood Tree and Morning Lane as part of the City Showcase festival.

Both bands performed lively acoustic set’s on our revolving shop floor, while shoppers and fans enjoyed beer, wine and the chance to win a £100 Ted Baker gift voucher. Highlights included Under the Driftwood Tree’s rendition of the Fresh Prince theme and Morning Lane’s Shadow of You.

Today sees the launch of an exciting new window concept in Ted’s Regent Street store. Designed by the Office for Subversive Architecture the window is part of the RIBA Regent Street window project that will see 10 stores receive bespoke window displays. Ted’s Hale and Ride display allows the window to merge with one of Regent Street’s busiest bus stops, with mannequins waiting patiently for the number 13.

To celebrate this new window Ted’s Route Master will be in store this weekend offering lucky customers not only the chance to win one of two season tickets to the London Transport Museum, but also the opportunity to design their own upholstered Harlem Cube using genuine London transport tube and bus moquette.

Ted’s BUSker, the talented Marques Toliver, will be playing in store this Sunday (15th May) from 1pm and if you Tweet a picture of yourself in front of the window to @ted_baker you could be in with the chance of winning a limited edition Ted Baker travel card holder!

Yesterday we were pleased as punch to announce the Ted Baker and hmv’s Next Big Thing stage at The Great Escape festival in Brighton next week. As well as supporting the festival, Ted’s proud to support new musical talent.
The line up for the stage, which will be located at the Concorde 2 venue, includes MZ Bratt, Dels, Example, The Phoenix Foundation, Ed Sheeran, The View, Malpas, Dry The River, The Antlers and Okkervil River.
