A final & huge congratulations to our New York City winner Laura Feeney. That’s it for our ‘Win a Stylish Break’ competition with Quintessentially Travel, we hope you enjoyed perusing Ted’s city & what to wear tips. Thank you all for entering & well done to our 3 very lucky winners! Watch out for their guest blogs in the New Year!
The Great Christmas Pudding Race that took place on the weekend was full of festive fun and frolics. 17 teams competed to win the title, including an 81 year old racer! The action-packed (but very messy) race raised an amazing £220,000 for Cancer Research.
Ted’s little helpers successfully completed the race, and although just missed out on winning, had a fantastic day.
Have you heard of the Great Christmas Pudding Race? It’s an annual event that is taking place on the 3rd December 2011 in Covent Garden Market, London.
The event is organised by CRAC on behalf of Cancer Research UK and supported by Fox’s and Covent Garden Market and this year we have our very own Ted Baker team entering!
Teams of six, in fancy dress, have to negotiate their way round an obstacle course while carrying a Christmas pudding on a tray. To make things a little more exciting they have to dodge being squirted with foam – brilliant fun!! So if your near by come along and cheer the Ted Baker team on!
It’s a fantastic event so if your out and about in Covent Garden, come on down to support Cancer Research UK and Teds Little Helpers!
Ted was the man about town at last night’s grand opening event at Fashion Valley in San Diego. Guests were greeted by Ted’s colourful feathered friends, Kodi and Tango, upon arrival. Partygoers toasted Ted’s brilliantly appointed new store and enjoyed a wild night donning animal masks and posing playfully for their very own flipbooks.
The masquerade carried over to Vin de Syrah, which was a natural extension of Ted’s retail theatre, where revellers indulged in desserts and cocktails while dancing the night away.
If you missed out on It’s Rutting Season – which ended last weekend – we thought it only right to share with you what you missed. Check out the lovely specimen in the our video below…
It’s Rutting Season is over in London. Ted has found his adorable Doe in Kristina Šimnová and his dominant Stag in Damien Ryan. They win the £500 shopping spree.
You can see all the lovely specimens from London in Ted’s Rutting Gallery. Ted also had top Instagram photographer Mike Kus snapping away capturing the action. You can see all the behind the scenes shots here.

So that’s it. It’s Rutting Season is over in Ted’s stores. Congratulations to all of the winning Does and Stags from Glasgow and Manchester – Danielle Gamble, Joseff Thomas, Phemie Beattie, and Aaron Osliff. Here they all are:
The real deer rut that inspired It’s Rutting Season, is taking place at the moment in Richmond Park – the location used for ‘Ted’s Worn To Be Wild’ AW11 look book shoot – and across the country. It’s an amazing sight and not to be missed – you’ve just got to be an early riser.
Pop into Ted Baker Regent Street this Saturday, and compete with Glasgow and Manchester to show off your wild side in front of the camera. There’s a £500 shopping spree up for grabs. Find out all you need to know and see what we’ve been up to here.
Behind the lens and shooting the deer (so to speak) will be the very stylish Mademoiselle Robot. She’ll be using Instagram, capturing all your animal instincts as you pose in a beautiful illustrated wood land set.
Also making a London appearance will be Mike Kus, who just happens to be Instagrams most followed user in the world.
Don’t miss out – pop down, have a drink on us and strut your Rutt before the end of the season.
