Have you heard of the Great Christmas Pudding Race? It’s an annual event that is taking place on the 3rd December 2011 in Covent Garden Market, London.
The event is organised by CRAC on behalf of Cancer Research UK and supported by Fox’s and Covent Garden Market and this year we have our very own Ted Baker team entering!
Teams of six, in fancy dress, have to negotiate their way round an obstacle course while carrying a Christmas pudding on a tray. To make things a little more exciting they have to dodge being squirted with foam – brilliant fun!! So if your near by come along and cheer the Ted Baker team on!
It’s a fantastic event so if your out and about in Covent Garden, come on down to support Cancer Research UK and Teds Little Helpers!

Have you been good this year? Ted hopes so because he’s got treats to give away EVERY DAY from the 1st – 24th December.
Head over to our website from the 1st December to enter Ted’s Festive Calendar. There will be daily updates on Facebook and Twitter so make sure you are following Ted Baker.

Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most unanticipated of places. For Ted, that place is usually on one of his frequent fishing trips across the English countryside; it was during one such trip that Ted realised that there was a fairly constant companion to his many pursuits of the great outdoors: his faithful Brady bag.
As one of the best shots in the business (his commercial hit rate is second to none), Ted’s been known to participate in the occasional shooting party and had noticed time and again the frequent presence and, indeed, essentiality of the Brady bag during such events. He began to think that perhaps the broader appeal of such a versatile piece of equipment had not quite yet been realised.
With that, Ted set about hatching a master plan to collaborate with the brothers Brady. With over a century of expertise behind them, Brady’s long-lasting appeal was obviously down to something that Ted himself hugely endorses: the making of bags the old-fashioned way.

Without further ado, Ted presents a stunning new range crafted under a new partnership with Brady bags: three men’s and one women’s, designed for the town, the country and everywhere in-between.
Featuring classic shapes with contemporary colour palettes and featuring unique ted linings and details, Ted’s Brady bags embody the perfect marriage of style, versatility and that principle that both Ted and Brady share: an unswerving devotion to quality.

Ted recently debuted two new menswear shops at Bloomingdale’s to join the growing list that includes San Francisco, Beverly Center and Century City. At the end of October, Ted launched his much anticipated shop at Bloomingdale’s SoHo and feted an additional men’s shop this past weekend at Roosevelt Field.

At both launch affairs, patrons shopped to the sounds of a local DJ, quenched their thirsts with organic artisanal sodas from Brooklyn’s own P&H Soda Co., and their appetites with mini shepherd’s pies. Lucky shoppers who spent $150 or more received a London Calling tote with which to transport their newly acquired wares.
The new Bluewater store in Kent opened its doors last week and Ted’s recorded his grand opening event. The activity lasted all weekend with apperances from each of the shop keepers from his fictional Kent village ‘Tedbury’.
Whilst the shop keepers were offering refreshments, the newspaper boys were doing their round in the Bluewater Shopping Centre. Watch for yourself here.
Ted was the man about town at last night’s grand opening event at Fashion Valley in San Diego. Guests were greeted by Ted’s colourful feathered friends, Kodi and Tango, upon arrival. Partygoers toasted Ted’s brilliantly appointed new store and enjoyed a wild night donning animal masks and posing playfully for their very own flipbooks.

The masquerade carried over to Vin de Syrah, which was a natural extension of Ted’s retail theatre, where revellers indulged in desserts and cocktails while dancing the night away.
