Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

Ted-Baker-Santa-Monica

Our friends across the pond just can’t get enough of Ted – well who can blame them. Just the other week a new store opened in Arizona and now Ted has set up shop in Santa Monica, California.

In the newly refurbished Santa Monica Place, Ted’s created a monument to the retro British seaside. With candy colours, dilapidated signage and even a carousel horse, it’s the best of an English seaside minus the miserable weather, plus the beautiful Californian sunshine.

To celebrate the opening of this store by the shore, there are competitions, tasty treats and obviously, Ted’s latest menswear and womenswear collections to enjoy. Sea you there.

That’s laughable… My buddy spent $1,000 that night on a new suit… It wasn’t ready when promised, the staff tried to fit him in a suit that wasn’t even his size and just make alterations. To top THAT off, when he went to finally get the suit…they told him he would have to pay an additional $200 for the alterations… Which we to be included for the “special event pricing”. Those alterations would change the look of the whole suit. I would welcome a response…

Hi Steve

Many thanks for your comment on our blog. Unfortunately, we didn’t hold an event or have any special event pricing at the Santa Monica store opening, but we would like to get in contact with your friend to discuss his experience. Please can you ask him to contact our customer service team via our website at http://www.tedbaker.com/contactus/default.aspx and we’ll be happy to help.

All the best,

Davina on behalf of Ted
