Why so blue?

14 June, 2010 ·

Everyman

As part of our ongoing support of Everyman, the nation’s leading male cancer campaign, we’ll be participating in their ‘Turn Blue’ month this June. We’re hoping to raise awareness about testicular cancer and encourage men to check themselves more regularly.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men aged 14-44. However, there is a 99% cure rate if it’s caught early enough – so awareness about the early symptoms is vital.

We’ve got pin badges on sale now and what’s more, on Friday 18th June, our store teams will be turning blue for day and you can join in. Dress in blue for the day, dye your hair blue or bake some blue cakes – whatever you do, make sure it’s blue.
