Earlier on in the year, we partnered up with Blighty, a new TV channel that celebrates all that is great, unique and inspirational about Britain. Their new series, Made in Britain, continues this theme with comedian Dom Joly on a quest to fill his home with exclusively British-made products.
After experts determine his home is filled with foreign imports, they banish them from his home until he’s left with little more than his Savile Row suit and a pair of Wellington boots. Each episode will see him tackling a different room in his house in a bid to restore it back to normality, albeit with only British-made goods.
Dom’s journey takes him on a road trip around the country. He journeys to the heart of British eccentricity and ingenuity as he meets the quirky and charismatic characters who simply won’t give up making products they believe in.
Made in Britain starts on 8th June at 8pm. You can find the Blightly channel on Sky 534 and Virgin TV 206.
