Guerrilla greening

16 March, 2009 ·

Here at Ted Baker, we know it’s important to try and save energy. However it’s easy to forget how small things like turning off your monitor at night make a big difference. So we thought a little encouragement wouldn’t go amiss.

We formed a group of green guerrilla activists, who secretly visited the Ted Baker offices out of hours. We went around every desk and rewarded everyone who had turned off their computer monitor with a chocolate.

It didn’t go unnoticed. As the week went on, people started to work out that only those who turned off their monitors got a treat. the result being, everyone turned off their screens before going home.

Hopefully this is now second nature for all of us and no energy will be wasted overnight. Keep reading our blog for updates on our progress in 2009.
