Moving Jim, our man who makes things move, can be seen here rollin’ with Tim Westwood. (Jim’s on the left.) Understand that. The reason? Well, it’s not a mutual love of music. Jim’s more of a rock man. What brought them together was a special project for Pimp my Ride.
The project is a collaboration with EMI and the Metropolitan Police, in aid of the youth charity XLP. The result is a riot van that’s been converted into a fully functioning music studio, complete with leather seats and a 40” plasma screen with XBox. XLP will take this mobile youth club to some of London’s most deprived boroughs as part of their work with young people.
The episode airs on Sunday 30th November at 7pm on MTV1.
