Wipe the slate green

31 October, 2008 ·

Ted Baker has joined 499 of London’s leading companies and become a member of the Green500. By signing up, we have made the choice to be proactive about reducing our carbon footprint. The end goal being to make it as dainty as possible.

This means that we’ll be monitored on all our green activity. From turning off our monitors to reducing company transport, Green500 will show us where we can reduce our emissions, and how. Together with the rest of the organisation, we’re aiming to cut carbon emissions by 1.5 million tonnes over the next two and a half years.

You can find out more about the initiative by visiting www.green500.co.uk. We’ll, of course, keep you posted about our progress on this blog. So watch this space…

Ted,
That’s great news, I wish you all the best. You could go a long way and beyond your carbon target by reducing your heat lost through open doors on the long winter nights. Also have you seen some of the new funky LED lighting, very efficient.
